  • 60g flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 75ml milk (1.5% fat)
  • 50ml sparkling water
  • Oil for frying
  • 50g Kadayif pastry strands
  • 100g pistachio cream
  • 1 tsp tahini
  • 3050g milk chocolate

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, egg, milk, and sparkling water. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  2. If using butter, melt it in a pan over medium heat. Add the Kadayif strands and stir until golden brown. Mix in the pistachio cream and tahini until well combined.
  3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour half the batter into the pan and cook until edges lift; flip and cook until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter.
  4. Roll each pancake around the pistachio filling. Melt chocolate and drizzle over rolled pancakes before serving.
