  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups dark chocolate (coarsely chopped or chips)
  • Sea salt flakes for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the hard caramel by melting sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until golden. Pour onto parchment to cool and break into chunks.
