  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 16 ounces dried spaghetti
  • 16 ounces marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces sliced provolone cheese
  • 2.25 ounces canned sliced black olives

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, olive oil, parsley flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Shape the mixture into 2-inch meatballs and arrange them on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Cut provolone cheese into circles and place on each meatball with an olive slice on top as pupils.
  6. Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.
  7. Boil spaghetti according to package instructions and heat marinara sauce; toss together when ready.
  8. Serve by placing meatballs over the spaghetti.
