  • 2 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (for caramelizing)
  • 1/4 cup water (for sauce)
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 sheets roasted seaweed nori (cut into strips)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the sushi rice until water runs clear. Cook with water in a rice cooker or pot until tender.
  2. Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt; drizzle over cooked rice and fold gently.
  3. Slice the chicken or beef product into thick slices and cook in a skillet until crispy.
  4. Combine soy sauce and water; sprinkle sugar on both sides of meat. Simmer with soy mixture until sauce thickens.
