Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter until smooth.
  3. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar; mix until light and fluffy.
  4. Incorporate eggs and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cream of tartar.
  6. Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Form dough balls about 1.5 to 2 inches across using a cookie scoop.
  8. Roll each ball in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
  9. Place on prepared sheets, leaving space in between, and bake for about 9-11 minutes until edges are set.
