  • 7 ounces sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 can dulce de leche (14 ounces)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
  • 1 box Nilla Wafer cookies, crushed (14 ounces)
  • 16 ounces Ghirardelli dark chocolate wafers

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded coconut, dulce de leche, sweetened condensed milk, and crushed Nilla Wafer cookies. Mix until well combined.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and place them on the parchment paper. Freeze for about 30 minutes.
  3. Melt the dark chocolate wafers according to package instructions until smooth.
  4. Dip each frozen truffle into the melted chocolate and return to the parchment paper.
  5. Drizzle remaining melted chocolate over truffles for decoration. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer.
