  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 2/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • Flavor extract (vanilla or citrus)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch round cake pan with melted butter.
  3. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the butter.
  4. Arrange pineapple slices on top of the brown sugar.
