  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup bamboo shoots, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 Mandarin pancakes or flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and vegetable oil; set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook sliced chicken until golden brown (5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. Sauté minced garlic and grated ginger until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Add shredded cabbage, mushrooms, carrots, green onions, and bamboo shoots to the skillet; stir-fry until tender-crisp (4-5 minutes).
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture; stir well and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Drizzle sesame oil over the mixture; season with salt and pepper before serving.
  7. Serve hot with Mandarin pancakes or tortillas.
