  • 1 cup caramel candies
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter and cool slightly.
  3. Whisk together granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Gradually stir in melted butter.
  4. In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt; then combine with the wet mixture until just blended.
  5. Pour brownie batter into prepared pan evenly.
  6. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Spoon dollops over brownie batter.
