Ingredients

  • Lemon Verbena Syrup: 1 oz (30 ml)
  • Fresh Lemon Juice: ½ oz (15 ml)
  • Soda Water: 3 oz (90 ml)
  • Soda Water: 1 oz (30 ml)
  • Fresh Lemon Verbena Leaves: 3 to 4
  • Ice Cubes: As needed
  • Lemon Slice: For garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the lemon verbena syrup by simmering equal parts water and sugar with lemon verbena leaves for about 5 minutes until sugar dissolves. Let cool and strain.
  2. In a mocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the syrup and fresh lemon juice. Add a couple of torn lemon verbena leaves and shake vigorously for about 10 seconds.
  3. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice cubes. Pour in the soda water followed by soda water, and stir gently. Garnish with a slice of lemon and fresh lemon verbena leaves.
