  • 1 1/2 lb Baby Potatoes (washed)
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (ground)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 stalk Green onion (chopped)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, black pepper, water, and sesame oil to create the braising liquid.
  2. Boil baby potatoes in a large pot of water mixed with white vinegar for 12-15 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the cooked potatoes for about 4 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Pour the braising liquid over the fried potatoes and simmer for 5-6 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Add toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onion before serving warm.
