Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices of chicken ham
  • 12 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 12 cups crushed Panko breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil and butter for cooking
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 2 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama® seasoning
  • 2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Pound each chicken breast to an even thickness of about ½ inch between plastic wrap.
  2. Set up a breading station: one dish with flour, another with a mix of buttermilk and egg, and a third with crushed Panko breadcrumbs seasoned with spices.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in the buttermilk mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat vegetable oil and butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook breaded chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Layer cooked chicken with chicken ham and Swiss cheese on a baking sheet; bake for about 10 minutes until cheese melts.
  6. Mix honey mustard sauce ingredients in a small bowl and drizzle over the baked chicken before serving.
