  • 40 grams Sichuan chili flakes
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 200 ml rapeseed oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 tbsp black rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 23 tsp white sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Sichuan chili flakes, salt, brown sugar, black rice vinegar, and sesame seeds.
  2. Heat rapeseed and sesame oils in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and spices; simmer gently for about 30 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and pour the infused oil over the spice blend while stirring continuously. Let it cool completely before transferring to a jar.
