  • ½ cup butter
  • 3 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened butter, vegetable oil, and sour cream until combined.
  4. Add sugar and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients until a dough forms.
  6. Using a cookie scoop, place dough on prepared sheets.
  7. Flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  9. Cool on the sheet for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. For frosting: Cream together butter, milk, and vanilla; then gradually add powdered sugar until smooth.
