  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Boil peeled, cubed russet potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to pot.
  2. Mash the potatoes using a potato masher or ricer until smooth.
  3. Mix in softened butter, heavy cream, egg yolks, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Grease a baking sheet with olive oil. Transfer the potato mixture into a piping bag or zip-top bag, then pipe small mounds onto the sheet.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top.
