  • 30 g cornstarch
  • 100 g mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. Dissolve yeast in warm milk; let sit until bubbly. Combine with dry ingredients, eggs, and melted butter. Mix until smooth and knead gently.
  3. Let dough rise in a greased bowl covered with plastic wrap for about 2 hours or until doubled.
  4. Prepare custard filling by whisking together egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch, and milk. Heat on low until thickened; stir in vanilla.
  5. Roll out dough into rectangles, fill with custard and chocolate chips, then roll up tightly.
  6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 12 minutes until golden.
