  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 yellow onion (diced)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground sage
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni pasta in a large pot of boiling water until al dente, following package instructions.
