  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
  • ½ cup butter (melted)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare two 9×5-inch loaf pans with nonstick spray.
  2. In a bowl, beat cream cheese with ½ cup sugar until smooth. Mix in an egg and vanilla extract, followed by flour. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mash bananas and mix in melted butter and remaining sugars. Add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour with baking soda and powder; gradually combine with wet ingredients.
  5. Pour half the batter into each pan, top with cream cheese filling, then add remaining batter on top.
  6. Bake for 50-55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
