  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped (optional but recommended)
  • Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tablespoons)
  • ½ cup chicken broth (or water for a lighter option)
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown; remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
  4. Add Dijon mustard, red pepper flakes, parsley, dill, lemon juice, chicken broth, and heavy cream; stir well.
  5. Return chicken to skillet, coat with sauce, cover, and cook for an additional 8-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Garnish with extra parsley before serving.
