  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; sear chicken for 5–6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice; deglaze skillet and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  5. Return chicken to pan; spoon sauce over it and simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  6. In a separate saucepan, melt butter, add minced garlic, then stir in rice and toast briefly.
  7. Add chicken broth to the rice; cover and simmer for about 15 minutes until tender.
  8. Stir in parmesan cheese before serving.
