  • 13 ounces canned refrigerated pizza dough
  • 67 mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh rosemary (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh basil (finely chopped)
  • 1 large egg (+ 1 tablespoon water for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the pizza dough into approximately 30 equal squares and slice mozzarella sticks into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Place one piece of mozzarella in each square of dough and roll into balls.
  4. Arrange the balls seam-side down on the baking sheet in a tree shape.
  5. Mix egg with water and brush over the dough balls for a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 16-18 minutes until golden brown.
  7. While baking, mix melted butter with half of the parmesan cheese, garlic, and herbs.
  8. Brush the garlic butter mixture onto baked bread and sprinkle remaining parmesan before serving.
