  • 6 slices turkey bacon (chopped)

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or pot over medium heat, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy.

  2. Remove the turkey bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the turkey bacon grease in the pan.

  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.

  4. If necessary, drain any excess grease from the skillet, then stir in the cooked turkey bacon.

  5. Pour in the beef broth and add salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).

  6. Let the mixture simmer on low for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chili thickens.

  7. Stir in the butter for added richness, allowing it to melt into the chili.

  8. Serve hot and enjoy.
