  • 3 quarts water
  • 1 (12-ounce) can of beef broth
  • 3 tablespoons Creole Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Hot sauce, to taste
  • 1 medium yellow onion, roughly sliced into half-moons
  • 1 large lemon, cut into wedges
  • 1 lb chicken or turkey sausage, sliced into rounds
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, red or gold
  • 1 lb pre-cooked snow crab leg clusters, fresh or frozen
  • 11 ½ lbs jumbo shrimp, deveined, shell-on or peeled
  • 46 ears sweet corn on the cob, mini size preferred
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 10 cloves of garlic, finely minced or pressed
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Creole Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. In a large stockpot, combine water and beef broth; bring to a boil. Add Cajun seasoning, Old Bay seasoning, onion, and lemon wedges. Boil for 15 minutes.
  2. Add sliced chicken or turkey sausage and potatoes; cook until nearly tender (15-20 minutes).
  3. Add snow crab clusters, jumbo shrimp, and corn; boil until shrimp are pink (5-7 minutes).
  4. In a separate saucepan, melt butter with garlic, lemon juice, and seasonings; simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Serve seafood mixture on a lined baking sheet; drizzle with garlic butter sauce and toss if desired.
