  • ¾ cup cooking oil or melted butter
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • Optional: ½ cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a Bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, mashed bananas, sugar, and oil until smooth.
  4. Gradually combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients; stir until just mixed. Fold in nuts if desired.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared Bundt pan and bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes before flipping onto a wire rack.
