  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 3.4 ounces instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup non-alcoholic Irish cream syrup (or coffee + vanilla extract)
  • 3.9 ounces instant chocolate pudding mix
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 8 ounces whipped topping (thawed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and prepare the cake mix according to package instructions, adding espresso powder to enhance the flavor. Bake in a 9×13 inch pan and let cool completely.
  2. Once cooled, poke holes across the top of the cake using the handle of a wooden spoon.
  3. In a bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, vanilla pudding mix, and half of the non-alcoholic Irish cream syrup. Mix until set and then pour over the poked areas of the cake.
  4. For the topping, combine chocolate pudding mix with whole milk and remaining syrup until thickened, then fold in whipped topping gently.
  5. Spread this mixture evenly on top of the cake and chill for at least an hour before serving.
