  • Optional: ¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Extra powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your waffle iron and grease it lightly.
  2. 2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. 3. In another bowl, mix eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
