  • 1 15.25 ounce box Yellow cake mix or Spice Cake Mix
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • ½ cup apple sauce
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon (for topping)
  • ¼ cup sugar (for topping)
  • ¼ cup melted butter (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry cake mix with apple cider, apple sauce, and eggs. Blend in cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla until well mixed.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased bundt pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Allow to cool in the pan for 20 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  5. While cooling, prepare the topping by mixing sugar with cinnamon. Brush melted butter over the cooled cake and coat with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
