  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ cup sanding sugar (for rolling the cookies)

Instructions

  2. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and spices. Gradually combine with the wet mixture until just blended.
  3. Cover dough with plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Shape dough into tablespoon-sized balls, roll in sanding sugar, and place on parchment-lined baking sheets.
  5. Bake for 9-11 minutes until golden around the edges. Cool on wire racks before storing.
