  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare chilled mashed potatoes if not using pre-made.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, cheeses, beaten egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until fully mixed.
  3. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll into balls.
  4. Roll each ball in breadcrumbs until evenly coated.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray potato balls with cooking spray and place in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving with dipping sauces of choice.
